A unique environment, hard work, patience, a good microscope, a lot of luck, and a lot of
encouragement, guidance and the help of my greatest inspriation: Dr. Harry Lee. Phil Poland has
provided a lot of valuable guidance in the field, and then there's my shelling buddy Scott who makes
the trips and sharing the hobby an extra pleasure.. Thanks too, to the several others always ready
to review material and provide identifications and literature.
