Hi Alfonso,
helicase is the enzyme that unwinds the DNA _double_ helix (those lucky
molecular biologists :-) ). Enzymes are usually named after their substrate
with the ending -ase. So be careful not to put helicase on your "caracoles"!
But what was that Helix pomatia extract then? Maybe digestive enzymes from the
midgut gland?
