Hi Linda

Definitely Hexaplex. Chicoreus has only 3 varices/whorl (except in
very rare abnormalities). Chicoreus is really just a Hexaplex in
which fewer of the early-whorl varices make to later growth, and in
which the later varices become fixed in number.

I suspect that there will be little if any anatomical or DNA
difference between them.
