Dear Conch-lers,
I am planning a trip to Japan in late July-August
2006.
Our itinerary will be more or less Tokyo and Kyoto,
Sapporo, Okinawa (probably heading for a few relaxing
days in the Kerama Islands). We will not be able to
hire a car, so we will rely on public transport.
I am looking for some information about shelling in
Japan, such as shelling spots, local shell clubs,
diving, field trip reports, references, etc. After a
first research, Japan seems a promising country for
shells due to its many islands, bays and sheltered
inner seas, different climatic regions.
Thanks a lot,
Paolo
