The last time I was in Puerto Rico they had some issues with exporting coral
from the country, but did not hassle me about shells - BUT that was in the
late 1980s. Anyone have updated information to give this individual?

Subject: shell question

Dear Thomas: As a conchologist, do you happen to know where I could find out
the regulations/license requirements for collecting live shells while scuba
diving in Puerto Rico? Thanks for any info. Tom Heimer
