Dear All,

It is a pity that ICNZ does not approve of forma, form of a species and I do
wonder how many collectors word wide have collected, bought albino's,
vesicolour, unique patterns, freak's, glazed, different colours, etc. Are
these not considered form of a species?

Don't museum's have freaks, odd, unique coloured shells, glazed, on their
shelves/showcases? How many of you have bought shells from dealers just
because they see written: vesicolour, different pattern's. Are these not
form of a species.

I saw a set of beautiful Conus nobilis victors on Richard Goldberg's web
site last year. Richard put different colours of Conus nobilis victors and
is this not trying to form it into different colours and patterns. At least
in my opion, he was trying to do that.

Indirectly colectors, advanced or beginers, museums, is involved some way or
the other in collecting forms whether they are doing it intentionally or
not.

I hope that ICNZ seriously considers reconsidering this forma of a species
issue and give the older generation of scientist their due. After all we are
in the mellenium age now.

George Fernandz
