FYI, speaking of Bllind Pass, for the more adventurous, I recently
met a fellow lepidoptera enthusiast who told me how incredibly easy it
was for him to find fresh dead paired angel wings using SCUBA in
shallow water along the edges of the cut at Blind Pass, apparently the
active water currents and erosional process would expose a lot of
shells in their burrows- easy pickings. I once found a similarly
eroded out pair wading at New Pass in Estero Bay not too far south of
Sanibel.
