Folks,

The Carnegie Museum of Natural History acquired Jay Tripp's mollusk
collection several years ago. At the American Malacological Society
meeting in July, I am planning on giving a talk about the Carnegie's
mollusk collection and I would like to focus on the contribution made by
non-professionals. I plan on discussing the Tripp collection and I would
like to illustrate my presentation with a photo of Jay and hopefully her
friend and co-collector Tom Ketter. If anyone has a photo of Jay and/or
Tom I would appreciate it if you would loan it to me or provide a scanned
copy. Acknowledgements will be offered.

Also, if anyone has interesting stories of Jay and Tom, please feel free
to share them with me. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks.

Regards,
Charlie
