Just don't eat the shellfish...
You just can't make a mollusk or a pig kosher!

Shalom,
Leslie

Subject: [CONCH-L] Eat, shell, pray

Regarding Moshe's post ...

the Jewish New Year has a special significance for all shell collectors -
at least those who self-collect ...one that i have known and used year in
and year out....including yesterday....the jewish calendar is a strange
contrivance, based on the lunar calendar, or lunar cycles. Thus after years
of random observation a eureka moment pointed out the obvious...there is
ALWAYS a minus low tide in the afternoon of each of the two days of Rosh
Hashannah (and for a few days before or a few days after).

Best New Years wishes
