I'm a little surprised that some museums may refuse collections.
If you have problems with a well labeled collection, then I'm willing to
accept it, introduce it into my own collection in the KBIN, Belgium. On
each new label that we will have to make, we mention that this shell is
from the former "X YOU" collection. This is not commercial, we just do this
for the museum and to advance science. I'm willing to personally pay
postage and expenses so that the donator has no costs and gets his shells
to the correct place.
