This group certainly is becoming diverse!!!  It is fabulous to have
people as young as seven, and collectors and researchers with over 40
years' worth of experience discussing  things together.  Since age per
se is a) not always for "polite" conversation and/or general
consumption, and b) largely irrelevant (which as someone over 35, i
firmly stand by!), let's see if we can figure out who is our
longest-lasting  inhabitant of that wacky place we call "the shell
world".  Anyone out there who has collected for 60 years? 70?  If so,
why not identify yourselves, and tell us a bit about how the
conchological community has changed in that period of time!  (I'd be
willing to bet discussions about flying  pigs were not all that common
back then, for starters!)
