Dear Don;-
    If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a
duck. The same goes for E. lamellosum, a world wide species.
    Now the other one is interesting. When your dive buddy goes and
gets a couple more, send one. I don't know of S. pernobilis being
from those parts, as it inhabits similar depths but from North
Carolina to the Antilles.  If your dive buddy doesn't find anymore,
try to get a decent photo done.
