My name is Tom Eichhorst and I just joined CONCH-L a few days ago.  I am
retired from the Air Force and have collected shells off and on since I
was in grade school.  My wife and I live in Rio Rancho, New Mexico (next
to Albuquerque - not many beaches).  I am interested in all families (and
yes, I know the benefits of concentrating on a particular group - just
can't, I like them all).  However, I do have a fairly complete
representation of Strombidae and quite a few Cassidae.
 
I have yet to trade with other collectors; to date, most of my shells
have come from dealers.  I have finally entered my shells into a decent
database (Access97) and for the first time I may really know what I have
and can hopefully avoid that great price on a shell I already have but do
not remember.
