Hello!

This is a preliminary report on filters
installed on my
mail program.

So far all messages containing the key
words I designated
for the sender, subject and message body
[even quoted messages]
have been deleted to the trash. I
verified the trashed messages and
checked for keyword content, perfect
correlation with my keywords.
I am still missing one [last name only]
which I will install shortly.

Unfortunately for those with expensive
e-mail charges the messages
are still received though fortunately
trashed.

Of eight messages received from the list
[last check] four had "drivel"
content and were trashed. Thus the
filtering has reduced my received
traffic by 50%. This is indeed a
significant improvement of the
EXISTING
junk post situation on the list.

By the way the filters are NOT list
specific so any private e-mails
containing the keywords/filters will
also be trashed.

Later,

Emilio Jorge Power
