Are there any list members who would be able to collect specimens of Asian unionid bivalves suitable for DNA work? Limited molecular data suggest that some may be the closest relatives of the North American groups that I am currently analyzing. Sinanodonta is also widely introduced into Europe and other regions, but the majority of these are found in south and east Asia (especially China).
Thanks!
David
