     Dear Elizabeth:

I had seen some previous posting on Conch-L about the most recent
re-print of this book. Based on what I read, the newest edition
is just a reprint of the original but newer. I believe that
Dottie Janowsky at Mal De Mer Enterprises has this edition for
     sale at a reasonable price.

I looked up this book with intent to purchase (a big step for me!), and
discovered it is out of print. Amazon.com has says it was published in 1997,
no publisher given; and Ellen Roth Books has a copy published in 1983, from
Dutton.

Which would be the definitive copy to purchase?

Thanks,

Elizabeth
