I have heard that importing shells into EU countries is nowadays not as
simple as it once was...... something about a list of "rare shells" that
goes beyond CITES schedules. Does anyone know where to find this
infamous List of Forbidden Seashells and Landsnails? Or, do individual
customs agents make things up as they go along? Or, is my info
erroneus, and it is just vigorous enforcement of the CITES treaty that
is in question? .... Enquiring minds want to know (and i do too!!).
