Folks,

The Philadelphia Shell Club is pleased to announce that as a special feature of the 2008 Philadelphia Shell Show it will be reviving one of the spectacular shell exhibits by the late Neil Hepler of Deerfield Beach, Florida. It is his masterpiece, a 34-foot display on the subject of the Nautilus. Visitors to the show (October 11 & 12 at the Academy of Natural Sciences; details at www.phillyshellclub.org or www.ansp.org ) will be able to see this extraordinary piece of work restored to its 1970s glory.
I would like to ask everyone's help, however. I want to flesh out the fairly sparse account I have of Hepler, his life and especially his exhibits and shelling activities. If you have any stories about him, or you knew him personally, please e-mail your information to me as soon as you can.

See you in Philly!

PC.
