After studying Poppe's Philippine Marine Mollusks Vol.-2, I am still unable to distinguish Chicoreus torrefactus
[Sowerby, 1841] from Chicoreus akritos[Radwin&D'Attilio, 1976], Chicoreus jessicae[Houart, 2008], or Chicoreus
poirieri[author unknown]. All four species seem so similar. Could anyone give me some suggestions on how to
recognize the differences between these species? Thankyou for any help you could give.
