Have a comparo some time between "Melongena"corona and the type
species of Volema, V. myristica. They are plainly congeneric. I think
that Melongena is an outright synonym.

In case anyone is interested, some probable subgenera (at best) of Volema are:
Saginafusus
Hemifusus
Pugilina (if it's not a syn of Hemifusus)
Cyrtulus

Compare the spire whorls and operc... probably needs molecular/anatomical work.
