Winston Barney and I have been talking about developing a database of
shellers that would reside on the COA website and be searchable for name,
location, interests, expertise, etc.  An online expanded version of Tom
Rice's sheller's directory.  If we can get a programmer to build it I would
think adding an image to each sheller would not be difficult.  Winston and I
thought this directory could be used by folks to contact someone with
similar interests - two folks getting together to talk Conidae or Haliotidae
or whatever.  We were thinking that just an email could be listed for most
people, leaving an exchange of further information up to the participants.
