I managed to find a really tiny, orange plastic dustpan on Amazon. Make sure the dustpan has a good "back ridge" to it so it holds the material well. And, if you use a ziplock bag that is wider than the tiny dustpan, it is super easy to pour the material in. I removed the brush that came with the pan and I use a fairly large (maybe 3 inch) paintbrush instead. I use a good strong rubber band to hold the brush in place when I am transporting them from A to B. I was delighted how well it worked, even on dry sand.
