Thanks for the message.  I have access to a place in Carlsbad and plan to
start using it, so I appreciate the information - I didn't know that shell
collecting was illegal anywhere, but now I guess I know to ask.  In any case,
perhaps I'll have to take up diving - someone else sent a message that shore
collecting is illegal in the entire state of California.
 
Do you know of any good shell stores/dealers in your area?
