You see the same thing with many high ticket established brand merchandise,
watches and Audio speakers, for example; Rolex, Klipsch etc etc. The
discount
offers state that they, the seller, will warrant the merchandise
themselves. To what
extent is not known until you get slammed!!
You will see that the original mfgs. do not guarantee the product unless
it is from
an authorized distributor/retailer. So yes you can get bargains but at
some risk.
