Whenever we have to send parcels in hurry we prefer to use EMS. All other
companies (DHL, FedEx, etc) requires an invoice from us which would
certainly create taxes and fees on the final destination.

I have had the same problem with DHL. They are also quite Draconian if
you refuse to pay them for fees you never agreed to pay in the first
place - threatening letters, collection agencies, etc. I won't use them
anymore. Give me the good old postal service anyday.

Matt,
I have never had problems with regular mail, but have
had HUGE duties with DHL and, to a lesser extent, UPS (no recent problems
with the later though). The DHL duties, rather the inspections,
cost me over 1/3 of the price of the shells. Personally I will no
longer order from anyone overseas who insist on DHL.
