Hello Esteemed Conch-L'ers,

I just posted a request on Poppe's forum soliciting help with
the ID of a shell from Christmas Island (Kiritimati), eastern
Kiribati. It is either a Latirus, Peristernia, or Benimakia
species with a greenish-gold iridescent periostracum. If
you are interested in the Fasciolariidae, please take a look,
or if you've never seen an iridescent fasciolariid, it might
be worth a look anyway. I look forward to reading your
responses.

Many thanks as always,
