On Kwajalein we had workers of all sorts from
Sr. Scientists to the lowest. Many Hawaiian men
and Philippino who loved to search for Octopus and
sea slugs, sea cucumbers (IIRC) and bivalves of all
sorts. They liked to cook for themselves on the
weekend - they had large general messes but home like
cooking was fun.

A Philippino spotted one and turned it inside out, then
slapped it onto had back - the suckers of several legs
took hold. He went on looking for more to get.

We had lobster, but only deep divers could get to them
and the Sea Turtles were mostly native catches (that was
a sight to watch them control (or try to)!)
