* back when biologists were more naive about the ways of the
entertainment industry, a note was actually drafted announcing the
success of a reported introduction of Spring Peepers to Corner Brook,
Newfoundland, on the basis of hearing a chorus of Peepers in a movie set
in Corner Brook. Preliminary peer review revealed that the movie was
shot in New Brunswick.
