Hi,
Amongst the shells I inherited is a cyraea aequinoctialis from Showcase
shells. It is marked as world record size although it was apparently never
registered. First of all what is the status of that as a species or a form
of c.annettae? Second if someone would be so kind as to give me the current
record I would be greatly appreciative. Hate to spend fifty bucks to find
out about one shell.
Also i've tried to order a backissue of the Nautilus that was written by the
Coovert's a revision of marginellidae. The web site I found had email
addresses that were to the Bailey Museum on Sanibel but to date I have had
no response. Can anyone give me contact information about ordering
backissues. Thanks.
