Of course, one day there may be peace in the Jolo and Basilan and we
can go diving there and make an expedition and bring back twenty
pieces of the Morum or more.... there is also a big eventuality this
will not be during my lifetime and anyhow an expedition there out from
Mactan will cost more than 20 000 dollars and the price for one shell
will still be high with 3000 collectors waiting to join Morum
exquisitum  to their collections. It's also what makes collecting fun:
in the meantime there are thousands of other fantastic shells on the
market that do not ask for big financial efforts and that are equally
beautiful.

Good news: Volume II goes to the printer this week. The introduction
is small, there is a foreword of BFAR director Mr. Sarmiento (Bureau
of fisheries and aquatic resources from the Philippine government).
The size of the volume is the same as Volume I (but it has more
plates) and there are many great collectors families: Buccinidae,
Conidae, Muricidae, Mitridae, Costellariidae, Olividae, Volutidae,
Cancellariidae etc..  Again many experts contributed to the volume.
