There is a cone from South America that i keep forgetting the name of. It looks like a white Conus mindanus, and i think at one time there was a debate as to whether or not it was in fact just a variant of that species. My question would be: does anyone know what this white mindanus-like cone is, and how is it reliably identified.

From a sunny but cool New Scotland day,
Ross Mayhew.
