Hello!

Hi,

The USAF uses the words HURCON - 2, 3, 4 etc (HURricane CONdition) to signify
hurricane preparatory or defensive conditions, kinda corny and movielike. The "older"
and baptized (having been thru more than three eyes) of us use the word HUPAN - 1, 2,
3 etc. This means HUrricane PANic and used to signify the level of panic amongst the
population created and abetted by our wonderful Television Meteorologists. I truly
think the plywood and bottled water companies must plant their guys and gals as moles
in the TV weather departments to drum up business.

By the way the correct spelling for the island in the Philippines is Panglao and NOT
Pangalo, at least according to Springsteen and Leobrera.
