Dear Roland, Your publications look excellent.  I was wondering if you could
help me increase my French vocabulary a little bit?  In the title of the 4th
and 5th tomes is the word “dulcicoles”.  I have checked in my average French
dictionary, my tres grande French dictionary, and my tres tres grande French
dictionary with no luck.  I even visited your “Le Dictionnaire de
Malacologie” but it’s not contained in there either.  This is clearly a
French word I must know.  Thank you for your assistance.  Bert Bartleson,
