Now I'VE caught the REPLY-TO-CONCH-L bug!

That last post was not intended for everybody but...

Being the holiday season, I've granted absolution to all prior
OOPSers, myself included.

As an aside to those interested in the now lengthening days,
the sunset began getting later back in November and the
sunrise won't start getting earlier until after January 4th
(when the earth passes perihelion, i.e., closest to the sun).
The shortest day is due to the combination of the retreating
sunset catching up to the still advancing sunrise.
After the 21st (or so) of December, the retreating sunset is creating
daylight faster than the advancing sunrise is gobbling it up.

Unfortunately, the North Pole can't read and winter is coming anyway!

Happy Holidays and

Aloha,

makuabob (a.k.a. Bob Dayle)
