Dear Harry and Mr. Phadke,

An excellent reference to this question is another paper by Kronenber, 2008
in which he gives a review of all the known cases of hybrids in the family
Strombidae including a hybrid between Sinustrombus latissimus and Lambis
lambis.

Kronenberg, G.C., 2008. An intergeneric hybrid (Gastropoda: Caenogastropoda:
Strombidae) with remarks on the subdivision of the Indo-Pacfic Tricornis
Basteria, 72: 331-341.

Best regards,

Henk K. Mienis
