If you are registering for the American Malacological Society meeting, you
might get an error message if you click on the e-mail link for
registration

ams‐[log in to unmask]

I found, that if you remove the dash and replace it with a dash from the
keyboard, then the address works.

If you look carefully, you will note a subtle difference between the two
characters.
