The CONCH-L list is set to send out ONLY 50 messages per day. When that
limit is reached the computer holds all additional messages until the list
manager sends a releases them. Last Friday at 10 PM the number of emails
to the list reached 50 and the computer started holding additional
messages. When I came into work Monday I released the list, but because so
many people had sent TEST messages to the list over the weekend the number
of messages sent to the computer reached 50 very quickly and the list was
again held until I was able to release it today. There is a good chance
this may happen again tomorrow since there were 30 messages in the que -
about half were TEST message - the group has only 20 more before it is held
again. Normally the list does not reach 50 messages (it has only happened
3 times so far).
