Dear Carole,

The changes and reasons for them are found in Huber M. (2010) Compendium of Bivalves. A full-color guide to 3,300 of the world’s marine bivalves. A status on Bivalvia after 250 years of research. Hackenheim: ConchBooks. 901 pp., 1 CD-ROM. It's rather expensive but contains a lot of valuable information.

Best regards,
Ron Noseworthy

Does anyone know if the Corbulids have been all
 downgraded. At one point we
had Caryocorbula and Varicorbula, but I just checked WoRMS
 and what I had as
Caryocorbula swiftiana is now Corbula swiftiana. I know it
 is a family in flux,
but perhaps someone can give me some insight.
     Thanks,
        Carole
I may need directions as to how to sign off from
 Conch-L and sign
back on. My signature is coming through strangely and I
 noticed Anne Joffe's
 came through strangely as well.
  Carole
