Hi, everyone!

As a micro lover, I am always eager to learn new techniques for collecting the litle gems. The dustpan and paintbrush technique sure looks interesting. Those items will be standard equipment in my backpack when I go to the beaches. I have encountered fine, dry beach drift several times and had to collect the sand in order to get the micros. This will be much more efficient.

All the best!

About 8 weeks ago, someone here on
the list (sorry, I can't remember who) suggested I use a
tiny dustpan and a wide paintbrush to collect fine dry beach
drift, in order to search it for micros. I tried that and it
works just great: very easy and very efficient. The
equipment is simple to find, compact and light to carry.
When you are flying to your destination, those
 considerations are important.

 Thanks!
