Being an expert on super glue or cyno acrylic (dupont 1974) i can tell you
that it reacts to moisture this is why it works soo dang well on your
fingers. I use the stuff for building wooden sailing ships models. The type
i use is industrial strength and not for the timid. I don't buy it in those
easy to lose small tubes but in 1/2 pint bottles. It might interest you to
know that if you stick your fingers together with the stuff you can use nail
polish remover to free them up. Other uses for the stuff are, shell art,
sailors valentines, stubbed toes(glue the flap back in place), reattaching
buttons in an emergency and the list could go on and on . Mark James & Peta
