The August Issue of Internet HSN is now on line.
The Features section has another Turrid article with many photos of
Daphnellinae, All past HSN articles on Donating/Selling Collections, and
the last part of Reminiscences of diving in Hawaii.

The Month section has included Sally Y. Shelton's article on
Deterioration of stored shells, and live Strombus gibberules photos.

The August auction includes 4 "like new" books including Abbot's
"Compendium" and Wye's "Encyclopedia of Shells".  There is the rest of
Dr. Burgess' material including a Amer. Palentology Bulletin 95 "Marine
Shells of the Coast of SW Florida, and a number of journals.  Also some
shell stands and low price shells from another donor.  Dr. Burgess'
shell cabinets are displayed, primarily for a local auction at HMS
October & November Meetings.
