There are several ways to divest oneself of a cochological collection. In
no particular order:
1) Sell it to a dealer. Expect to discount it 33-50% of the retail price.
They have to be able to make a profit.
2) Sell it to an individual.
3) Sell it on E-bay.
4) Donate it to a museum.
5) Donate it to a shell club. I would expect that they would in turn sell
it at meetings or at their annual function.
