Thanks to all for your detective work in tracking down evidence concerning the type species of the genus, Orbitestella. I am eager to see an illustration of O. bastowi.
I wonder at Ms. Mestayer naming a new species (O. hinemoa) without seeing an illustration or description of the type species. It seems like she must have had family connections on the reviewing panel for her paper.
Apparently, my O. is nameless and perhaps undescribed. Given that it's my first O., I'm a little surprised. There've been two or three Ammonicera species and one Lodderena species in this sample from Arno--Submillimeter Land.
