I think some conservation projects should be held (captive breeding etc),
there are lots facing extinction via habitat disturbance and or disturbances
caused by Euglandina etc. (in Samoa, Guam, Hawaii and many).
What i dont understand, although tropical many island endemics of Indian
Ocean land snails are generally thick shelled (and large). That means,
excluding any possible factors, heat tolerant (not loving) species can be
more vulnerable.
