Amphidromus poecilichrous asmani is described by Djajasasmita in Treubia, 26: 57-61, in the same publication the taxon candidus is described.
Amphidromus poecilichrous jaeckeli Laidlaw (in Butot, Penggemar Alam, 34: 105-107) was described as A. contrarius floresi by Haltenorth & Jaeckel, 1940 in Archiv für Molluskenkunde 72: 173-176 for two specimens from Mosena, West Flores.
Asmani could represent a separate species, as it has a somewhat different shape, and violet coloured peristome as "semiadult"?????

Mention again of the third poecilochrous subsp from Komodo Island has me looking again. Anyone have the publication Djajasasmita.1963 on Amphidromus poecilochrous asmani. If I could get the description/picture I would be most thankful.
