When a young 4 year old there were a number of the 'French' food type
in the Slew area north east of San Francisco. They would climb up most
anything from saw grass to houses. I've seen them float.
I suspect some are able to pressurize their shell to float.
My guess there will be a population explosion due to the storm.
Time will tell.
