Whether you call it pain, nociception, suffering, or glockamorra there
is no doubt that all living things have a defensive reaction to threats,
perceived or real.
That does not stop me from slaughtering selected virus, squashing
mosquitoes, eating live carrots, or boiling lobsters.
Big hermit crabs become fertilizer. Little hermit crabs go down the drain.
And yes, thank you, I sleep just fine.
