Dear all,
I have recently returned from the Philippines having collected a
number of Neritidae, as they are a big interest of mine.
I am trying to locate a link i visited via Conch-L about last year.
As follows:
A person working for a small USA museum (I think) had inherited a
collection of mixed marine shells.
She posted a number of pics of massed shells up on a site, and then
asked the Conch-L group for identification assistance.
Someone in Conch-L did a great job of putting names to them......
many many names.
The shells included a number of Neritidae of the
coromandeliana/cornea/communis/turrita/dubia type of Neritid.
I seek to find those pics and their identifications, as a starting
point to help me identify my own recently collected shells of that
same difficult group.
Are those pics still viewable somewhere?
Thanks for your help,
Martin Walker,
New Zealand
