Dear Richard
It is nice be included in discussions on Conch-L from time to time,
but if you are going to trash me at least have the good manors to use
my correct title of Dr not "a Ms" Clark like you did earlier this morning.
All Harry did was indicate that I had commented on this topic once
before several years ago, and that at the time I had the PZSL article
in front of me (right now my copy is in my office and I am at home)
and I said as you have now backed me up that Sowerby made no
indication who he was naming the species after. I also indicated the
journal title, volume and page numbers as well as the spelling used.
So I simply did not make up what I wrote several years ago and all
Harry was doing was referencing it. He was not making me sound like a
higher source as you seemed to have implied in the less than
courteous manor in which attempted to dismiss, what had previously been quoted.
Thanks
Stephanie
