Hello Harry and all,
The marine gastropods regarded as extinct are:
Lottia alveus (eelgrass limpet), northwest Atlantic Ocean, last known
living (LKL) in 1929
Lottia edmitchelli (limpet), northeast Pacific, LKL 1861
Littoraria flammea (periwinkle), northwest Pacific, LKL before the 1840s
Cerithidea fuscata (horn snail), northeast Pacific, LKL 1935
I don't believe the molecular work on L. alveus has yet seen the light of day.
Best,
Jim
